When a couple decides to open up their partnership and look for a third person to add to their lives, they often follow a path that has been traveled many times before. However, this path is usually an unsuccessful one.
This 3-hour intensive will lead students on a journey through the thought process of an imaginary couple opening their partnership. By putting ourselves in the shoes not just of those considering opening up, but of the potential third person as well, we will have the opportunity to examine our own assumptions, biases, and behaviors in our consensual non-monogamous relationships. We will explore these concepts through discussion, collaborative and team-based exercises.
Whether you are new to polyamory or have been part of such relationships for years, this intensive will help attendees gain a new understanding and compassion for both sides of the search – the couple and the third.
